What is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)?
EFT tapping can bring deep peace, healing, and insight to emotional, physical, and mental stressors. EFT is based on traditional Chinese medicine practice of acupuncture and is an effective technique using gentle finger self-tapping on acupressure points and verbal exploration to facilitate healing. The mind and body are intricately linked and in EFT sessions we use all three to identify and change patterns of blocked emotions and negative thinking which can help alleviate physical symptoms and can enhance well-being and self-expression.
How can EFT help?
EFT can help transform emotional stress associated with adverse experiences and be used for anxieties, fears, trauma, procrastination, performance enhancement, stress and physical symptoms. What happens in a EFT Session?
During a EFT session I will guide you to tap using your fingers on acupressure points on the face, hands and upper body whilst focusing in on the problem issue. EFT is an integrative approach that combines working with the body and talk therapy. I help you to identify the causal wound behind your issues using EFT to resource you to come alongside the difficult aspects of yourself or your experiences and release blocks. The understanding you gain in EFT about your problems allow you to come into balance and harness that energy to take positive action in your life.
Essential to the way I works is to provide a space for clients to feel safe, understood and listened to. I work in a way that is supportive, warm, intuitive and creative. I deeply trust in the healing potential and wisdom of each individual and use EFT to enable this to emerge. My focus is to help you heal and be in touch with your vitality, joy and power.
